The Association was established spontaneously by a group of senior e-sports industry stakeholders in 2015, and is now the most influential non-profit organization in the e-sports industry in Hong Kong. Since its inception, with the care and support of various stakeholders in the Hong Kong e-sports industry, including e-sports companies, Internet cafes, e-sports product agents, shops, game and software developers, and people from all walks of life, the number of members of the association has continued to increase, and the business of the conference also developed rapidly. The Esports Association of Hong Kong has successfully hosted and co-organized more than 30 events related to e-sports projects in the past, including e-sports development seminars, e-sports x technology experience and recruitment day, Hong Kong e-sports festival, etc., with more than 300,000 passengers. In the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, it held trials for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and led the Hong Kong team to win the first gold medal. The Association is committed to promoting the development of the e-sports industry in Hong Kong, and at the same time contacting various international e-sports organizations to create more high-quality opportunities for the Hong Kong e-sports industry. Additionally, we will also work together to cultivate more outstanding e-sports players, enhance the society's understanding of e-sports, and work together for the healthy development of the e-sports industry.
